1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the VellaFlora website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you may not access or use our services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
2. Account Terms
You may create an account to access certain features such as order history, gallery participation, and saved preferences. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place orders. VellaFlora reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Orders & Payment
All orders placed through VellaFlora are subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of checkout. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. Orders are confirmed via email once payment is successfully processed. For custom bouquets built through our AI-powered builder, the final price is calculated based on rose count, add-ons, and arrangement style selected. Gift cards may be redeemed at checkout and are subject to their own terms as outlined in Section 6.
4. Delivery
VellaFlora offers delivery to Minneapolis and surrounding areas. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 2pm at a fee of $12.99. Gift Direct delivery to a recipient's address is available for $9.99. Shop pickup is available at no charge. Delivery is limited to ZIP codes within our service area. We make every effort to deliver within the estimated timeframe, but delivery times are not guaranteed. VellaFlora is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, incorrect address information, or other circumstances beyond our control. The recipient or a responsible person must be available to receive the delivery. If delivery cannot be completed, we will attempt to contact the customer to arrange an alternative.
5. Returns & Refunds
VellaFlora stands behind every arrangement with our satisfaction guarantee. If your flowers do not arrive in the condition pictured or are damaged during delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at hello@vellaflora.com with a photo of the arrangement. We will offer either a replacement arrangement or a full refund at our discretion. Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, returns of the physical product are not accepted. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to process. Orders may be cancelled or modified up until the arrangement enters preparation. For same-day orders, please contact us as soon as possible to request changes.
6. Gift Cards
VellaFlora gift cards are available for purchase in denominations from $25 to $500. Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced. Gift card balances can be applied at checkout and any remaining balance will be retained for future use. Gift cards can only be used for purchases on the VellaFlora website.
7. User Content & Gallery
Our community gallery allows users to publish bouquet designs they have created using our builder tool. By publishing a design to the gallery, you grant VellaFlora a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your design on our platform. You retain ownership of your original design concepts. You agree not to publish content that is offensive, inappropriate, infringes on intellectual property rights, or violates any applicable laws. VellaFlora reserves the right to remove any gallery content at our sole discretion without notice. Other users may "remix" published designs, which creates a derivative arrangement using your design as a starting point. Likes, order counts, and featured status are determined by VellaFlora and do not constitute endorsement.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the VellaFlora website — including text, graphics, logos, images, product photos, AI-generated bouquet previews, and software — is the property of VellaFlora or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written consent from VellaFlora. The VellaFlora name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of VellaFlora. Use of our trademarks without permission is strictly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
VellaFlora provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VellaFlora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. VellaFlora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to VellaFlora for the specific order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to Terms
VellaFlora reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically. For material changes, we may notify registered users via email.
